Byatt is an asymmetrical shawl inspired by the English novelist A.S. Byatt.
It is worked mostly in soothing garter stitch which flows onto a slip stitch section and finishes with a lace edge.

2 sts and 30 rows measured over 10cm square of blocked garter stitch. Karie advises that the correct gauge is really important to this design as the shawl uses every cm of yarn.
