The Castlemilk Moorit and Bluefaced Leicester Sheep in this yarn all live on a farm in the Lake District. The farm specialises in conservation grazing and keeping traditional breeds of livestock.
The fleeces have been woollen spun and is 55% Castlemilk Moorit and 45% Bluefaced Leicester, making a soft but hard wearing wool.
The Castlemilk Moorit sheep enjoy pottering around the lowland parts of the farm. The seven Bluefaced Leicester (Gerard, Arnold, Barry, Leonard, Gloria, Barbara and Myrtle) are softies and spend their time very close to the farm house.
