Taking its inspiration from patterns found on early pottery, Karie Westermann’s Ertebolle is a slouchy hat knitted in aran weight wool.
The hat is knitted in the round with purl stitches creating the pattern around the hat.
Karie recommends using a wool with good stitch definition and drape.
