Proserpine by Karie Westermann

£3.50

The inspiration for Proserpine comes from the 19th century artist and poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti.  Among his works is a painting of Proserpine, The Roman Goddess of Spring.

This half circular shawl is just the thing for spring days to cover your shoulders.

Proserpine is knitted in stocking stitch with small pretty lace sections which cleverly incorporate the increases making it ideal to showcase a stunning 4 ply yarn.
