This North Ronaldsay yarn is very special indeed, not only do the seaweed eating sheep live on the shores of North Ronaldsay but the yarn is also spun on the island in their small mill which opened in 2003.
The North Ronaldsay sheep have a double coated fleece which traditionally was rooed (teased out) rather than clipped. This yarn feels very soft to the touch and comes in five undyed shades.
Please note the price of each skein depends on weight.
